Shane was still unsure of what was going on. He remained quiet and didn't fight as the guards 'escorted' him to his new cell. His face was stony and cold. He was practically emotionless, but there was still that hint of confusion lingering on his face. Shane looked around for a moment, as they were about to close the cell door for a moment while they retrieved his other cell-mate. That was when he turned on his heel and jumped upwards the guard. He grabbed his wrist, and pulled him down, using a large zap to knock him out. A few minutes later there was a small pile of passed out men on the floor and Shane was being cuffed again. They quickly moved him to a new, not empty cell that was occupied by a knocked out female around his age. Then again, he never knew. He couldn't even fight back this time. His sides and back were sore from the shocks of the stun sticks. At some point his fingers wrapped around the end of one of one ofthe stun sticks by accident and his eyes rolled back for a second. Shane winced as he heard the cell door locks click. He ran a hand through his shaggy black hair hair with a pale hand (the one not injured) and groaned, crawling to The bed that wasn't taken and sleeping - or passing out??

I watched as the male around my age got thrown into my cell. My arms were bruised by the way that the guards held me to tight. Watching this guy get hurt like that, made me stand up from the corner, and slowly, walk to him. Holding onto the worse bruised arm, and then reaching out with the other.
"A-are y-y-you o-okay?" She said, cold, and shivering from the cell walls. I didn't know what to do, and I'm too cold to really say anything else.

He was a light sleeper, and almost shot up when he heard her voice. This proved that he hadn't passed out. He blinked and stared at her for a moment. she looked too innocent looking to be much older than a century. He shook his head, looking down at his red Hand that contrasted so greatly against his pale skin. He breathed shakily, scooting closer to the wall pressed against the head, and farther away from gerZ

I kind of stared at him for a second. I watched him back away. I took a step back. I was scared, and i didn't know what to do. I continued to back up until I hit my back and the back of my head against the wall at the other side of the cell. I slid down, until I was on my butt, and held my arm, and the back of my head. I pressed my forehead against my knees, and sniffled. Today sucked. I knew that for a fact. Now, when I try and be nice, I mean, yeah, I know were different, but I just wanted to be nice. I wanted to help him... I felt like I needed to help him for some reason. Like there is something inside of me that told me that I needed to help him. It also told me that something bad was going to happen, if his hand didn't stop bleeding. You can see the finger marks that turned into bruises on my arms... It felt as if my head was bleeding, and hitting the wall just made a shock run up my spine.

Shane bit his lip, trying not to scream in frustration. He was wondering what he should do. He bit his lip even harder until it bled, and wrapped his fingers around his wrist. Closing his eyes tightly, he turned way from the opening if the cell and there was a slight buzz and flash of light. He sighed in relief and shook his hand, groaning in pain for a moment. What he basically ss wa vast a spell that packed all the pain he should've received and took it in one dose. He sighed again and turned, looking around to make sure no one saw.

Shane looked over at her and blinked. He glanced over his shoulder again before healing his own wounds. Shane then stood up from his bed, facing the girl. He thought for a moment before deciding he wanted to help her out. He walked over, kneeling down and smiling softly at her. "Here," He mumbled, his somewhat deep vouce soft and csutious as if approaching and handling a wild animal. Before she could react his fingers were curled around her arm gently and there was a slight flash which caused the girl not to be able to see What was happening as he cast the spell.

Devon raised both eyebrows this time, eyes glued to hers and unblinking. The first thought that occurred was, This bitch is crazy. Of course, he’d been grouped with a crazy at some point, but forget how exactly he was supposed to deal. Obviously, first was not to provoke. Emma was pretty much a huge hot head, the main thing he’d noticed about her, and if she was crazy that would be worse. She didn’t know how to react to his actions, because if she knew any better she wouldn’t give a response to anything he said at all. Devon wasn’t actually interested, considering he didn’t want to ‘date’ anyone like him. She was too smart, independent for his style, a badass certainly. Devon actually liked sweeter, more innocent girls. Sure, he’d look but no touching. That was plain common sense – don’t get romantically involved with the chick you’re stuck with as cellmates in prison. A lot of the people in here were in prison for other reasons, despite the fact they were ‘Immortal’. That was reason number one you don’t try to actually mess with your cellmate, because you never knew what the hell they’d done before prison. Besides, all Devon liked to do was mess with your head. He was a bully, in one way, and reactions were all he wanted.

Prison had done this to him, and the bad side of him came out more than often. He was a very bored, immature child and his last resort was to tease and provoke people in not the most appropriate way. He didn’t have much respect for Emma at the moment, considering he’d just met her. She was proving to be a good equal, but he wasn’t quite yet done with testing this ‘theory’. His long and slender fingers fingers wrapped around her forearm, and Devon forced a smile on. He was a snake, so the skin fit on easily and he pulled off the relaxed look. In reality, he was overjoyed to get something out of her. She was amusing him, and Devon felt no fear or worry in this position. There was this excited feeling in his stomach as he thought of what she might to do him. A fight? Or would she just scream her head off at him. “Sweetheart,” He croaked. “I can go on for hours like this. If you don’t remember, I’m a vampire and I don’t need to breathe, ‘ight? You’re just stopping me from speaking normally.” He looked at her calmly,

He listened as she stated her ‘rules’, but Devon wasn’t really listening all that much. First, he wasn’t planning on drinking from her. She was Fallen, and her blood was tainted and most likely black from hell or whatever sin she had committed. Despite that, her blood scent didn’t smell all that great – Angels had better blood. He always had the possibility to drink from her, but Devon wasn’t planning on getting into full Isolation ever. He’d never done it before but had seen what happened to the victims who came back. You could get in serious trouble for actually fucking up another Immortal. Prison fights were fun but the consequences weren’t. Second, he didn’t love. In his human life, he’d been a player, despite the fact he technically lived in a time where the term didn’t even exist. He’d just met Emma and she was telling him this, as if she expected him to fall in love with her after a few minutes of meeting. He wasn’t completely sure what she meant by that rule, but he didn’t question it. Females were too confusing, which was why he had never stuck to just one for too long.

Third, he wasn’t going to follow the last rule. That was too much to ask for form Devon. He would always want something else to amuse him, and Emma was an interesting toy to play with for now. If everything went wrong, then Emma would most likely be placed in Isolation and Devon would be left mute, shameful, and in pain until his fangs grew back again... He still decided to mess with her until things got ‘personal’.

Emma narrowed her eyes at him coldly, her lips setting in. a straight, unamused line that added onto her unreadable expression; save for her eyes which flashed with anger as her temper sparked, igniting a violet flame in her irises. Had she been a dog, a growl would've welled up from her chest and rumbled out, but she wasn't and instead, a snarl laced her words.
"Well, then- you and I could be stuck like this for a while because I'm not moving until you agree," she hissed, a small bit of her fringe falling from her loose bun and drooping over her forehead, shadowing her eyes. Her rules may have been a silly game to him, but to her, they were her justification in case she ended up putting him in a wheel-chair; something she was quite capable of doing without a weapon.

Annd, as for Devon, since you said earlier that he didn't like sitting and doing nothing, I imagine he'd only last ten minutes in that position. xP
