Past Alpha's
Ender and Canyon
The founders and first alphas of Canyon Grove Pack. Ender was shrewd, calculating, and manipulative, but he became less anxious after the demise of his former pack, . He met his mate, Canyon, while in exile together and created CanyonGrove with her loyally at his side. They had twelve pups in three litters. Their youngest son, Sinder, became the alpha when Ender died. He later became know as Legion.

N-A-M-E
Only one word please. Only use words that a wolf would be familiar with, ex: Birdy, Silver, Leaf. Do NOT use the name 'Shadow' at all.
D-E-S-C-R-I-P-T-I-O-N
Describe what your character looks like. Make sure you get as detailed as possible and add everything you can think of. Your character must NOT have fur/eye color that is unnatural to the breed (ex: purple fur, red eyes, etc.) Strange scars, age, missing limbs, height, etc. Also, every wolf in this pack is a DIRE WOLF.
If you don't know what that is, look HERE.
P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L-I-T-Y
How your character acts. Are they resentful, regrettable, skittish, lovable, cautious, grim, etc.? This is also where you can talk about your character's history and about their family. Talk about anything that has to do with your character in this area and make sure that you don't hold back on anything.

What The Ranks Mean
ALPHAS: (CURRENT ALPHA - Legion)
The leaders of CanyonGrove Pack. The two Alphas are always mates and normally lead the pack until they die; the Heir takes over as the sole leader even if the female Alpha is still alive (she retires). They create all the rules, make decisions, and pass judgement on every wolf who has done something wrong. Their youngest male pup becomes the Alpha after they have died.
HEIR: The Heir is the Alpha's youngest or only son (if the Alphas don't have any pups, then one of their male kin will become the Heir; i.e brother, uncle, cousin, etc). The male Alpha trains his son or kin to prepare them in becoming Alpha one day. The training lasts until the current male Alpha dies in which the Heir will promptly take over as sole Alpha of the pack.
VOODOO: (CURRENT VOODOO -)
A male or female wolf who lives their lives as loners in the woods. They do not live with any other loners or with the pack. They are quiet and mysterious and they usually stay away from others. Voodoo's are so close to the Great Spirit Wolves that they are almost one themselves and have been given special 'powers' so that they seem more spirit like then any other wolf. Voodoo's know who the next Alpha will/should be and have many other abilities that can help CayonGrove. There can only be one voodoo at a time.
BETAS: (CURRENT BETAS - Nocturne)
The deputies, or second-in-commands of the pack. There are two Betas, a male and a female. If the Alpha dies and does not have any pups, siblings, or living relatives, then the male Beta becomes Alpha. The Betas are usually good friends of the Alphas or trusted wolves in the pack.
HEALER: (CURRENT HEALERS -Essence)
There may be two Healers at a time. These wolves are very knowledgeable in plants and illnesses. They heal any wolves who are sick, expecting pups, or wounded. Contrary to popular belief, the Healers are allowed to have a mate and pups.
HEALER LEARNER: (CURRENT HEALER LEARNERS -)
The Healer's learner-in-training. There can be two at a time, each one training under the other Healer available. It takes them a long time to reach the level of being a full Healer, so they are normally very dedicated to their job.
HEAD HUNTER: (CURRENT HEAD HUNTER: ---)
A male or female wolf whose job is to oversee the hunting abilities of all learners in the pack; they give their approval or disapproval for a young wolf to move onto guardianship. The Head Hunter is the best hunter in the pack and is normally very fast and intelligent in the ways of hunting all kinds of prey. When there is little to no prey in the Pack's territory, the Head Hunter goes with the Scout in search of prey in other territories.
HEAD FIGHTER: (CURRENT HEAD FIGHTER: ---)
A male or female wolf whose job is to oversee the battling abilities of all learners in the pack; they give their approval or disapproval for a young wolf to move onto guardianship. The Head Fighter is the best fighter in the pack and is considered to be very strong and great strategist. Whenever the BlackSun's enemies threaten the pack, the Alphas turn to the Head Fighter for ideas on how to go about the battle.
SCOUT: (CURRENT SCOUT -)
There is only one Scout in the pack. He or she sends messages to the Alphas' allies and spies on the enemies packs of BlackSun. The Scout is also used in various situations where he or she is needed, such as searching for herbs that may be in other territories, looking for prey outside the territory, etc. The Scout is forbidden to have a mate or pups, because they must be willing to risk their lives for the good of the pack and cannot have any distractions from their work.
SCOUT LEARNER: (CURRENT SCOUT LEARNER: Dezmond)
The Scout Learner's training is one of the hardest a young wolf can undergo. They are chosen by the current Scout of the pack and train under him/her until their predecessor dies or retires. By that time the learner is prepared to take over and is fully aware of all risks that the job ensues.
ELITE GUARD: (CURRENT GUARDS-Vandexal)
The four biggest, and strongest wolves in camp - always two males and two females. They patrol BlackSun's territory almost all the time and are well known to have good hearing and eyesight. Though they listen to the Alphas and Betas, they also refer to both the Head Hunter and the Head Fighter.
GUARDIANS: The heart and soul of the pack. They are skilled in both fighting and hunting and will always be loyal to their pack. They defend their packmates with their lives. Each Guardian is given a learner to mentor whom they teach how to both fight and hunt, and are responsible for their learner's lives.
LEARNERS: Pups seven moons or older. They are in-training to become guardians and to learn how to fight and hunt. When a pup reaches the age to be a learner, the are given to a Guardian to take under their wing who will teach them the rules of the pack, how to hunt, and how to fight. Only with the approval of both the Head Hunter and Fighter are they allowed to move on to become a guardian.
MOTHERS: She-wolves with or expecting pups. They must always be willing to take in/adopt an orphaned pup(s). They take care of other mother's pups as well if that she-wolf is unable to take care of her own or is away for a small amount of time.
PUPS: The youngest wolves in the pack. They are raised by their mothers until they are seven moons old and are allowed to become learners. They remain in their nursery and are not allowed to leave camp unless their mother or a high-ranking wolf takes them.
GRAYNOSES: The elders in the pack. They are called 'graynoses' because of the white fur around their muzzles that indicate their advanced age. They are too old to be guardians and pup-mothers. They are also very wise and you should always respect them.
LONERS: Normally harmless wolves who live outside of the pack. They do not live in dens with the rest of the pack, but instead reside usually in the forest. They can give good advice but they like to keep to themselves.
SEER: A very, very rare male or female wolf who has the ability to see flickers of the future. They are born without the knowledge of knowing that they are a Seer and continue their lives until they reach the age of a learner's status. They are visited by Shadowriver himself and are told of their new ability. There is only one Seer per every five generations.
THE TERRITORY!
SILENT SHADOW WOODS
A huge area of woodland that is a beautiful place with thick trees and long, green grass. The forest is one of the best places to hunt a decent meal -the woods being the best place to hunt deer- and many groups come out here during hunting patrols. Hunters commonly come here, but not so much bears or cougars. Hidden deep within the forest is the Legion's wolves' camp.
MICA STONE MOUTIANS
A small range of mountains just on the edge of the Silent Shadow Woods. Another great place to hunt, but it is crawling with cougars who are very aggressively protective of their territory. Try not to go in here alone, especially if you walk into a marked area where a cougar lives. Despite the dangerous predators the mountains is another ideal place to hunt or to let out some energy by running up and down the slopes of the mountains.
BLACK RAVEN WATERFALL
A nice place to relax on hot days. It is a good place to swim, go fishing (for those wolves who can fish), or spend time with a certain special someone. Although beautiful, it is a very treacherous place. Shadowflame, one of the alpha's of Legion's pack, slipped on the slick rocks and fell, unconscious, into the pool. Sadly this caused the young alpha to drown. Been reful coming here and make sure you stay surefooted. Far enough away from the waterfall, but still in view of it, there is a small area of white lilies that never die (even in the winter). This area marks the burial ground where all the alpha's of Legion's Pack have been put to rest.
VIPER STRIKE LAKE
Connecting to the Black Raven Waterfall by a small, yet rough river is the Viper Strike Lake. It is so named because water moccasins tend to make a living along the banks of the deep lake. Just like the rest of the territory, the lake is a gorgeous place, but looks can be deceiving. It is impossible to swim from one side to the other because the current is very rough and the deep water is constantly freezing. During the winter, though, it freezes over and allows a wolf to walk across it safely
HALLOW CRY CAVE
A hidden cave that was just recently discovered on a hunting trip in the Mica Stone Mountains. It is mysterious and is extremely hard to find, unless you are of the CanyonGrove. Whenever the pack is invaded and they need to hide their pups and graynoses, the pack is sent here to hide and wait out the battle. No other pack knows where this cave is - not even Satan's allies. It is said that the various tunnels throughout this cave connect to the Shadow Cave in the spirit world and the Healer's Cave near camp, but no one has ever gone that deep into the tunnels.
BATTLEFIELD
BATTLEING..RULES
1.) Here at CanyonGrove we are wolves. Not ninjas, not grizzly bears, not wizards. So act like a wolf which means fight like a wolf. Wolves do not have any powers, so don't start shooting out lasers from your eyes or something and no conjuring daggers out of thin air. Savvy? Good.
2.) Wolves don't really have claws like a cat. They are dull and can do some damage, but a wolf's main offense are their teeth. So use the teeth and sometimes the claws, but remember, no swords.
3.) Don't try to be all powerful and dodge every blow and not get a scratch on you. If you're here, you're gonna get hurt. Suck it up and have some blood drawn. It won't kill you. Well, maybe. If you get hurt really badly, once again, suck it up and get help from the healer. We aren't super-wolves here!
4.) Be courteous of others. Don't start cussing them out if they actually beat you in a fight. Deal with it and keep battling.....unless you're killed. That may be a bit difficult to keep fighting if that happens.
5.) If a wolf is bigger or smaller than you, actually fight as if they were bigger or smaller than you. If you're a guardian fighting against a learner, who do you think is going to have the advantage? The guardian of course. The best fighters are going to be the Alphas, Elite Guards, and Betas. They're the best experienced out of them all so fight appropriately.

SPIRITS!
The four spirits have existed for longer than any Legion wolf has known. When Ender first came to the territory, the Four Spirits came to visit him. They announced him the true leader of the territory and warned him that if he ever denounced them as the true higher powers, they would bring their wraiths down upon him and his pack. For a long time they have kept the peace and have watched over CanyonGrove Pack between the four of them for the entire time. They will not turn their backs to Legion , as long as Legion doesn't turn their backs on them...
Bralycka - A robust female wolf with silky white fur and long, skinny legs. Her most prominent, besides her solid white eyes, are her magnificent deer antlers that are slender and unbreakable. She represents the good luck in the pack, but there is a rumor that she has recently turned her eyes away from the pack, letting her mate -Otur- watch over the pack more closely. She and Otur have been together since the beginning of time and are rarely inseparable.
Otur - Otur is a thick-furred pale brown male wolf with cold red eyes and ropey white scars covering his entire coat. This Great Spirit has a tendency to have a rather bad limp to his gait, but that is because of the fact that his two hind paws are goat hooves. Instead of walking, he appears lame, and whenever he runs, he makes this sort of leaping motion. Otur is the representation of bad luck for BlackSun pack and is the mate of Bralycka. He cares for only himself and Bralycka is blind to it.
Liv - The handsomest of the Four spirits, Liv is a lean male wolf with pale, soft gray, almost white, fur and forest green eyes. He has two enormous white wings like that of a Snowy owl, but they don't actually give him the ability to fly. He represents life and if any pup is born in the pack, Liv's presence can be felt beside the mother, offering her soothing encouragement and welcoming the new pups to the pack. He is the brother to Kuolema.
Kuolema - Kuolema has very dark gray that appears almost black, fur with white markings on her sides and back, and there is black skin where her eyes should be. She is the spirit of Death. Whenever a wolf in the pack is dying, her presence can be felt beside the dying wolf, soothing their grief and comforting them as she leads them to the Shadow Caves. Although she may seem intimidating and frightening, Kuolema is not considered a bad spirit. She is the only sibling to Liv.
SHADOW CAVES
The Shadow Caves acts as the Spirit world for all deceased wolves of CanyonGrove Pack. Kuolema, the Spirit of Death, escorts all the recently departed spirits into the Caves and then leaves them in the care of older spirits who had passed away a long time ago. All of the Four Spirits live in the sacred Caves, but they don't appear unless they are meant to be seen - they are, however, always watching, even if you can't see them. Only the Voodoo and Seer are the only two who have permission to come here (any other wolf who comes to the Shadows Cave means instant death). There are many tunnels in the Cave and only the Seer and Voodoo know their way through the cave without getting lost.
MISSION'S
RULES: Please follow them or else
I will excuse you from a mission!
1.) You are not allowed to join a mission unless you have my permission.
2.) No one may join in a mission that has already started unless specially asked to.
3.) You may only roleplay one character per mission.
4.) The Voodoo, Healer, Mothers, Pups, Graynoses, Loners, and Seer are not allowed to go on missions (unless specifically asked).
5.) There will always be a head wolf in charge, but do not ask me to be it. I choose.
6.) Please follow the RP Rules when roleplaying during a mission.
7.) During the duration of a mission, your character may not roleplay anywhere else except here on the mission page.
8.) Characters are not allowed to reapply for a mission if they have JUST gone on the mission right before. You must wait for the mission afterwards.
HEALER'S CAVE
Nestled right outside the camp is a small tunnel that leads down to a spacious cave. The two Healers and their learner live here, caring for sick, injured, or pregnant wolves day and night. Pressed along the stone wall in little piles are herbs that the Healers use when needed. The cave can hold many wolves at a time and has plenty of nests for a wolf to rest in if they need to stay overnight.

Agrimony
Yellow flowers and thorny stems. Fights infection and inflammation.
Aloe Vera
Bright green and cactus-like. Used to treat burns.
Angelica
White flowering plant. Roots swallowed to purge toxins through regurgitation.
Anise
White or yellow flowering plant similar to Angelica. Seed relieves nasal congestion.
Asafoetida
Tall plant with yellow flowers and a bad smell. Good for someone having trouble breathing.
Barberry
Tall shrub with thorns and yellow flowers that become red berries. Roots stimulate immune system in the elderly.
Basil
Aromatic shrub. Juice can treat ear infections.
Birch
Tall gray tree. Bark treats many viruses.
Black Seed
Plant has delicate bluish or white flowers. Seeds treat most infections or viruses.
Blackberry
Small bushy vines with black berries. Roots used to stop bleeding in the mouth.
Borage
Prickly leaves and small blue flowers. Leaves increase a mother's milk.
Broom
Large bush of yellow flowers. Helps heal broken bones and serious wounds.
Burdock
Tall weed with large leaves. Roots can fight infection, especially in rat bites.
Calamus
Grass-like leaves that grows in marshy areas. Roots stop inflammation.
Calendula
Bright orange flower. Heals damaged tissue, cuts, wounds, burns, ulcers and inflammations. Heals rough or problem skin. Stimulates blood circulation. Helps break fevers.
Cedar
Tall aromatic tree. Leaves used to treat fevers, headaches, and coughs.
Celandine
Blue-green leaves and yellow flowers. Used to treat sores on or around the eye.
Chamomile
Low-growing yellow or white flower. Soothes muscle aches and induces sleep.
Chervil
Bright green. Leaves treat infections and stomach aches.
Chickweed
Straggling stems and white flowers. Reduces inflammation.
Chrysanthemum
Sprawling plant with bright flowers. Treats blurred vision or dizziness.
Cobwebs
Thin webs woven by spiders. Staunches bleeding.
Coltsfoot
Odd shaped leaves and yellow flowers. Treats coughs or breathing problems.
Comfrey
Tall plant with drooping flowers. Leaves treat broken bones, and roots treat open wounds.
Coriander
Plant is low and has white flowers. Seeds treat cramps.
Daisy
Distinct brightly colored flowers. Leaves soothe aching joints.
Damiana
Dark green leaves and cupped yellow flowers. Leaves helps treat depression.
Dandelion
Bright yellow flowers or orb-like growths. Leaves are calming.
Dill Weed
Green leaves and flat, seed-like fruits. Settles the stomach.
Elderberry
Spiky-leafed plant that has dark berries. Berries used to fight sickness.
Eyebright
Small plant with abundance of pastel flowers. Helps all sorts of eye ailments.
Fennel
Small green plants. Fruits (referred to as seeds) stop stomach cramps.
Feverfew
Daisy-like. Juices help lower fevers.
Figwort
Erect and purple or green flowers. Treats skin irritations, such as flea or tick bites.
Foxglove
Tall and covered in pale flowers. Leaves stop bleeding, and cloves purge toxins through regurgitation.
Garlic
Tall and grass-like. Juice fights infection, and smell repels fleas.
Ginger
Medium height and white or yellow leaves. Juices from roots help coughs or breathing problems.
Goldenrod
Tall, yellow-flowering plant. Juices treat aching joints or severe injuries, and numb pain.
Gravel Root
Tall and small purple flowers. Roots treat fevers and joint pain.
Gumweed
Red-stemmed and with yellow flowers. Flower juices treat infection.
Hawthorne
Spreading tree with colorful flowers and dark berries. Berries treat upset stomach.
Heather
Tall stems of pink, purple blue or white flowers. Flowers good for arthritis, coughs, and sleeping problems.
Honey
Found in beehives. Soothes sore throats.
Honeysuckle
Fragrant yellow or white flowers. Flowers combat infections and soothe skin rashes.
Hops
Odd-looking small green pine cone-type plant. Relaxes nerves and muscles, and is a bitter-tasting digestive aid.
Horsetail
Odd grass-like plant. Soothes sore throats and is a sedative.
Ivy
Vine of star-shaped leaves. Juices help calm.
Jasmine
Climbing vine of fragrant, colorful flowers. Help soothe inflammations.
Juniper
Mid-sized evergreen tree. Berries help with stomach aches.
Kelp
Water-growing plant, best used freshly washed ashore from the ocean. Leaves help fight infection, though they sting.
Lavender
Purple-flowering evergreen shrub. Good for insomnia and anxiety.
Lemongrass
Long stems of grass bunched together. Relieves nausea and lowers fevers.
Lotus Root
Roots of a water-growing pink flower. Very rare. Helps prevent sleep.
Lungwort
Spotted leaves and purple, pink or blue flowers. Good for coughs.
Mallow
A purple or pink flower. Can help treat broken bones.
Mandrake
Small, slow-growing plant with a white flower. Root purges toxins through regurgitation.
Marigold
Red, orange or yellow flower. Good to treat infections in wounds.
Meadowsweet
Common plant, white flowers. Helps with fevers and coughing.
Milk Thistle
Tall pink flower. Seeds good for mushroom poisoning.
Milkweed
Stalk topped with light purple flowers. Juice used to treat burns.
Motherwort
Bitter dark green plant. Good treatment for shock.
Mugwort
Purple-flowering stalk and dark green leaves. Useful against parasites in the stomach.
Nettle
Tall, spiky leaves. Seeds purge toxins through regurgitation, and leaves are anti-inflammatory.
Passionflower
A very odd-looking and somewhat rare purple flower. Juices help ease shock or trauma.
Peppermint
Bright green, short stalks. Leaves help indigestion and sores in the mouth.
Poppy
Bright red flowers. Flowers are a sedative, and seeds numb pain.
Raspberry
Bush with red berries. Leaves good for sores and leg cramps, and pregnant mothers.
Red Clover
Purple, pink or red flower. Plant helps heal open wounds.
Rhubarb
Widespread leaves on red stems. Root is used to heal skin infections and inflammations.
Rosemary
Blue to violet flowers, evergreen shrub. Leaves used for aches, pains and scratches. Blossoms used for eye infections.
Sage
Low-growing evergreen shrub. Plant treats upset stomach, roots can help crack paw pads.
Sassafras
Sturdy tree. Roots can help fix immune system after large sickness, but should only be administered by someone experienced.
Skullcap
Ridged leaves and tiny blue flowers. Plant fights infection and can lower fevers. Seeds can help give a cat strength after sickness.
Snakeroot
Tall plant with clustered white flowers. Juice fights poison in wounds.
Spearmint
Green with large leaves. Help digestive problems.
Speedwell
Small with small blue, purple or white flowers. Helps relieve pain.
Tansy
Tall plant with clustered yellow flowers. Helps relieve coughing.
Thyme
Spreading green plant and small white flowers. Calms when ingested.
Tormentil Root
Roots of low-growing yellow flower. Good for fighting infections and poison in wounds.
Usnea
Pale green lichen. Fights bacteria in wounds.
Valerian Root
Pale roots of a tall, purple or white flower. Powerful sedative and can help ease spasms when ingested.
Vervain
Mint with small blue flowers. Plant relieves joint pain.
Watercress
Round-leafed marsh plant. Treats a sore throat.
Watermint
Marsh plant, round purple flowers. Helps stomach aches.
Windflower
White flower with yellow center. Shoots relieve stomach cramps.
Witch Hazel
Shrub that gains golden-flowers in autumn. Plant helps restore energy.
Wormwood
Tall and has blue flowers. Bitter, and flowers induce hallucinations and - eventually - sleep.
Yarrow
Tall with yellow, white or lavender flowers. Lowers fevers, relieves cramps, relieves inflammation, and can help slow-healing wounds
COMMON MALADIES
1. Belly Bite Disease (Canine Parvovirus) - Viral disease that attacks a wolf's intestine. It causes vomiting, dehydration, and an uncomfortable pain in the belly. It is a minor fatal disease, and both adult and pup can get it. Occurs usually during the fall and winter when a wolf is at it's weakest. There is a cure if treated immediately.
2. Hidden Death Disease (Cancer) - Depending on the symptoms, a form of a usually fatal disease that causes a wolf to die a slow, and sometimes, painful death. Can affect a wolf's brain, lungs, skin, or bones and can be inherited from adult to pup. There is no cure once a wolf has been discovered to have it.
3. Bug Ears (Ear mites) - White little specks that fester and can infect the ear canals of a wolf. They leave visible dirt behind in the ears and cause a lot of irritation. Not fatal; contagious upon close contact with another wolf.
4. Foaming-Mouth Disease (Rabies) - A terrible disease that is given by another rabid wolf or animal. Initial symptoms include anxiety, irritability, and depression, before the disease finally reaches a dementia stage. The diseased wolf must be destroyed; no known cure.
5. Biting Virus (Lyme disease) - Not to be confused with the "Belly Bite Disease". Must be bitten by infected mosquito or tick. Gives a severe pain in every area of your body for several days unless a medicine is administered immediately. This disease only occurs in the summer and can be fatal unless treated.
6. Cold Paw (Frostbite) - This malady happens only during the winter. Affects the ears, nose, or paw pads of a wolf and gives off severe pain in those areas if a wolf is exposed to freezing temperatures for long periods of time. Not fatal; treatable even if left unattended for a while.
7. Yellow Virus (Canine Distemper) - Majority of the time affects only pups, though the virus has occurred in adults. Contagious disease that focuses on the skin, eye membrane, and sometimes the brain of a wolf. Symptoms include fever, loss of appetite, dehydration, and discharge from the wolf's nose and eyes. Death usually occurs after seizures if no cure is given.
8. Mouth Virus (Oral Papillomatosis) - Virus that infects the mouth and lips of a wolf, and can cause swelling to occur on the lips. Not fatal, though it causes pain when speaking or eating; most wolves lose their appetites. A wolf becomes immune to the virus after having it.
9. Mange - Caused by mites (not to be confused with "Bug Ears" mites) that attach themselves to a wolf's skin. Contagious. Symptoms include skin lesions, fur loss, and crusting of the skin. Severe cases can lead to weight loss. Not fatal and is treatable.
10. Lice - Occurs only to older wolves who are malnourished or already sickly. Similar to mange, though not as physically damaging. Non-fatal and there is a cure even if left untreated for a while.
11. Chill - A mild malady with symptoms such as a runny nose and a fever. Occurs any time of the year and can be caught from getting wet or being in cold weather. Completely treatable and there have never been cases where a wolf has died from getting a chill
12. Stiff Bones (Arthritis) - Painful inflammation and stiffness of the joints. Happens to older wolves. Symptoms include decreased activity and alertness, weight gain, and soreness in the limbs. There is no cure, but it is treatable and never fatal.
13. Clouded Eyes Disease (Cataracts) - Condition in which the lens of a wolf's eyes becomes progressively opaque, resulting in blurred vision. Does not occur in pups or young wolves; gets worse with age. It is not a fatal malady that can be treated, but there is no known cure.
14. Puppy Mange (Juvenile Cellulitis) - Affects only pups. A rare skin disease whose symptoms include swelling, fur loss, ruptures in the skin of the face. This disease is often mistaken for a snake bite and can cause a lot of scarring if left untreated. Has the possibility to become fatal, though there is a cure.
15. Pink Eye (Conjunctivitus) - Non fatal. Swelling and itchiness that appears in the eye(s) of a wolf of any age. Discharge may appear in the infected eye(s) and if led untreated can result in blindness.
16. Fainting Disease (Epilepsy) - A brain disorder associated with abnormal electrical activity in the brain. Symptoms include recurrent episodes of sensory disturbance, loss of consciousness, or convulsions. Not much is known about this disease except that it is fatal if a wolf is left unattended. No cure.
17. Dizzy Disease (Vertigo) - Not to be confused with the "Fainting Disease". It is a strange sensation of whirling and loss of balance, associated particularly with looking down from a great height, or caused by disease affecting the inner ear. There is no cure for the rare Dizzy Disease, but it is also luckily not fatal.
18. Rotten Tooth Disease (Gingivitis) - A non-fatal malady that inflames a wolf's gums. If left untreated, this can result in tooth decay, which then unfortunately results in loss of teeth. Can happen at any age.
19. Hypothermia - Having an abnormally low body temperature, typically one that is dangerously low. This usually occurs only during the wintertime, but it can also happen when a wolf has been in cold water for long periods of time. Fatal if not treated immediately.
20. Hyperthermia (Heat Stroke) - The condition of having a body temperature greatly above normal. Not to be confused with "Hypothermia". Happens normally during the summer and spring, though there are still risks in fall and winter as well. Also fatal if not treated immediately.
THE CAMP
In the center of the forest there is a clearing where all the wolves of the pack, except for the mothers, their pups, alphas, and healers, come to sleep for the night. The pack refers to this place as the Dark Sky Clearing seeing as it is one of the only places in BlackSun territory where you can see the moon clearly. You may also come here to eat, talk, hear announcements, or to just calmly rest.
ALPHA'S DEN
The Alphas' den is the farthest away from camp so that the high-ranking wolves can talk privately with one another without being interrupted by the daily routines of the pack.
It is a snug, small den, used really for the Alphas' to be alone together, even if for a little while.
THE NURSERY
The nursery is the warmest and most protected den in the entire camp. It also happens to be one of the biggest, with the exception of the Healer's Cave.
Pups are cared by their mothers here until they become of age to train as learners.Once the pups leave the nursery, then the Mother returns to her Guardian responsibilities. Learners, in the meantime, bring fresh bedding and food for the expecting or nursing Mothers and their pups.

Sylver had been walking with Keith and passed places that didnt have much wolves, spotting a male ahead of them she stopped and she lowered her head a bit, her ears pinning to her head "We've come to look for a pack. We lost our own a long time ago." she looked at the male once more, her Icy blue eyes showing pure sadness, though she didnt want to. Legacy has been through alot in his life and is not the nicest wolf in the world. He is easy to make mad and is very will to rip someones head off if they make him mad. Legacy is a sly old wolf that knows what he's doing when it come to fighting, and hunting. Although he is very aggrestive, Legay has a big heart and is rather caring. He loves pups and would take care of anyone mostly because he had a whole little that was killed by other wolves. Legacy is very loyal and would do anything for his familey and his pack.

Legacy was born into a very small pack or five. His pack was attacked when he was only a pup and Legacy ran away living out his life as a loner. At the age of four Legacy ran in to a beautiful white would who he soon fell in love with. They had a large little of seven, and soon started their own pack, but once again a pack was ripped away from Legacy, his mate killed, along with all but one of his pups. Legacy rased the young wolf on his own they were two loners roaming the wood, rivers, and mountains, passing through many other packs lands. Legacy ran into a wolf one day one that for some reason he felt like he knew. Dropping his head low to the other male. Legacy asked kindly if him ans his daughter could join this pack of his. And here they are today.
