I smile and smirk as I look at her "Wait?! Tvs are running! OMG!"

shay- "very funny." she walked into the other room and laid down on the couch. her hand clciked the tv on by the remote and she waited for the image to appear on the screen.

David
I jog into the living room and lop down on the couch next to her. I place my arms on top of the couch and lean back. I wait and cock my head when a very weird image come on the tv screen

shay- she clicks another button and changed the channel. "im hopeless. pick a channel please." she handed him the remote and leaned up on her elbow.

David
I laugh and put on a sports channel

Shay- she yawned softly and tried payin attention to the tv. "sports channel. I used to watch that a lot with my dad." _father, bribing me with the sports channel. Afterwards was daddy time._

David
I shrug "Hey it was the only thing that was on that was good. They movies tagt are out are like boring. Believe me I watched every one on Demand and they sucked big time"

shay- "makes sense. i wouldnt watch them if they sucked." she sat up and grabbed his hand. "maybe theres something more interesting someplace else? how about we go sit on the porch or something?"

David
I smile and interim our fingers "Alright. Lead the way missy" I laugh alittle and then off the tv

shay- she stood and walked towards the sliding glass doors in the back of the house. when she walked out, it was pretty dark, considering the time, and the only light came from the street lamps. "pretty nice out here. It's my first time being out here since i moved in."

David
"Oh. We should have a fire" I say smiling and pointing to the fireplace in the back on the deck

shay- "sounds like a good idea to me." she walked over to the fire place and bit her lip. "i think there is some wood on the side of the house. maybe by the hose fixture." she looked up at him and smiled. "i could go get it if you want?"

David
"I'll do it. If I can spend the night. I'm to lazy to go home" I smirk

shay- "you can stay the night. i was hoping you woul anyway. It's pretty late to drive home." she shrugged and kissed his cheek. "you go get the wood and I'll set up some blankets out here."

David
I smile and head out and go get the woods throw sine into my shoulder and hold some under my arm as I head back to the fire place

shay- she laid a blanket down next to the fireplace and grabbed an extra to cover themselves up with. as he came back, she smiled.

David
I smile and set the wood down and outdone in te fire place. I grab a lighter and throw some old paper into the pit. I knee down on the ground and lights the paper as it slowly lit on fire and started the wood on fire. When the fire got stronger I added more wood and sat down next to her

shay- she pulled a blanket over them and smiled. "did you ever star gaze when you were a kid? my adoptive mother used to take me outside and look at the stars with me." _my adoptive father used to just look at me. Such a nice change to have a good guy with me, especially one who doesnt have just one thing on his mind._

David
"Ya. I always did with my brother when we sat outside at night"

shay- "their quiet wonderful huh?" she looked up and leaned into his side. "mother always said their burning rocks way up there, but when i was a child i used to pretend they were spirits of people who sacraficed themselves for the ones they loved."

David
I wrap an arm around her and smile "You seem like a cute kid" I say laughing

shay- "i guess i get that alot. I probably was, with all my crzy ideas and things." she giggled softly to herself and closed her eyes. "what were you like as a kid?"

David
"A normal kid. Always getting into trouble. Getting dirty. Things like that"

shay- "so normal boy behavior." her hand grabbed his again and she traced a pattern on the inside of his palm.

David
"Yup. Normal boring life" I look at her and smile
