I laugh and push him into the water.

Taylor- He stood and looked down at himself. "oh really?" He looked at her and smiled. His arms reached out to her and he pulled her to him as he fell backwards into the water.

Ashley
I laugh and come up and splash him

Taylor- He ignored the splash and wrapped his arms around her so he could dip her under again.

Ashley
I laugh and splash him again before be took me under

Taylor- He let her go and stood up. He flipped his hair so that water splashed out and smiled.

Ashley
I come up and move my wet hair out of my hair and laugh alittle more

Taylor- He stepped into the deep part of the water and moved his arms in a swimming motion to keep in the same spot. "Your pretty cool Ashley. Thanks for coming here with me."

Ashley
I smile "No problem Taylor" I say and dive under under then come up to move any hair from my face to the back on my head.

Taylor- He walkd up to the beach and laid down in the sand. It all stuck to his back and hair, each peice hotter than the last. His eyes closed and he let out a relaxed breath.

Ashley
I get up an lay on my towel "Why don't you just lay on your towel? It's not as hot"

Taylor- "Because I don't think its that hot. And I like the feel of sand, it makes me feel relaxed."

I laugh alite and poke his side "Boop"

Taylor- He leaned up on his elbow and looked at her. "I have a small confession to make." He looked at her eyes and shook his head. "I'm not a very good guy, or at least not in front of people. I came here with my cousin to get away from things, and by things I mean dead memories. People I've hurt and things that kill me inside. I have a gun, in the duffel bag. I always carry it around just in case, and now I've gotten into the same loop again and I'm in a bad group of guys buisness, when I shouldnt be."

Ashley
"Well I have a gun in my purse. But what bad memories is it?"

Taylor- "I got into a gun fight with a guy while I was in college. I got shot twice and he died. I shot him in the chest, at least nine times, since a clip is nine bullets. He died because of a stupid college bet. Some stupid drinking contest." He shook his head and started tracing patterns in the sand with his index finger. "So I left college and took Maddie with me after I passed by my uncles house. I bought my house and Maddie lives with me. I have the scars from the gunshots if you want to see?"

Ashley
My eyes went alittle wider. I didn't expect him to even bring people dieing up in the convo. "Um......Sure....."

Taylor- He sat up and looked own at his stomach. "There's one above my left hip that goes straight through to the other side. The other one is on my abdomen, just above my belly button." He looked at her and sighed. "But you should know that I'm not stupid like I used to be. I mean, theres still stupidity in there, its just not as prominent." Half smiling, he touched the circle scar above his belly button. "I don't drink anymore either. Plus, Maddie won't let me leave the house after 11. It helps alot, keeps me from making bad decisions."

"She kinda sounds like shes your mom almost......"

Taylor- He smiled and ran a hand down his face. "I guess she would be kinda like my mom. I never had any other woman in my life except her and girlfriends. My mom abandoned me just after I was born and my uncle took me in. I was about 3 or 4 when my aunt died during giving brith to Maddie. It was while my uncle was at work so she gave birth in the house. So sometimes she was like my mother, and I'm like her older brother sometimes. Since her father blamed her for her mother's death for a long time." He looked away from her and to the water. "I might be telling you more about myself than you want to hear all at once."

Ashley
I lean over and kiss his cheeks and give a small smile "Atleast I understand...."

Taylor- "The worst part of all of it is that my mom had an abortion, or what she thought was one when she found out she was pregnant. So I seriously was unwanted by my mother. Don't get me started on my dad. He was a drug dealer my mom bought her fix from. But she didnt pay in cash, so that's why she ended up preggers." He sat up and ran a hand through his hair. "Did something happen to your parents too?"

"They left us.....They say their going on vacation and never came back home..." I turn away and look at the water and tilt my head.

Taylor- He placed a hand on her shoulder trying to comfort her. "They showed you that they're not worth your time. If they abandoned you, they abandoned the best thing life has to offer."

I laugh and poke his side "Your acting like a flirt" I say smileing
