Falling, darkness, i feel like i am floating, just there, no feeling, no pain or euphoria, just nothing
BEEB BEEEBB BEEEEEEEEB, i turn over and hit my alarm clock, "ugh monday", I get up get a shower and get dressed. After wards i get my keys and leave. I see a starbucks, "hmm i could go for a bagel", i say to myself. I pull in, get out, and walk in

Jynx: I glanced at the window as I realized the sun was up again. Sigh.... Another sleepless night... I kicked back the covers, accidently burying my cat underneath the sheets. "Oops.. sorry baby." I dig and uncover her pretty little head, giving her a kiss between her ears before getting up and walking into the kitchen.

I order a coffee and take a seat. "damn that is a nice ass" i say looking at a woman standing at the counter ordering something.i take a sip of my coffee and it burns my tung. "FUCK...... owwwyyy" i say.

I get dressed, fixing my mess of hair into a half presentable mass of curls. Giving up, I throw the comb down, and grab my keys. I was going to be late for work!! I scrambled into my car and drove the 3 blocks to the starbucks. I jumped out, slammed the door. Halfway to the entrance, I realized I forgot my tag. I cursed and raced back to the car, grabbed my tag, and rushed to the coffee shop door. I pushed it open and let the familiar smell of fresh ground coffee beans comfort me.

I go to take another sip when someone bumps into my table while they are rushing past me. The coffee spills all over my shirt." what the hell..... Jinx??"

I stopped, and turned at the voice. I looked at this person. They were slightly familiar.... The eyes.. The dark hair... Then realizaion hit me. "Oh my God!! Ethan!!" I managed to get the words out of my throat.

She looked as beautiful as always did, dark curly hair, pretty brown eyes, and a great body. I got up and threw my arms around her. "How long has it been?!?"

I tightly squeezed my arms around him. "Two or three years I think.." I drew back and studied his face. I had missed him SO much!! How many times did I sit at home and just think about our good times together?? "How are you?" I asked with a smile, tucking my hair behind my ear.

I looked into her deep brown eyes, god i love them so much, i could just look into them for hours and not get bored. "I have been alright, you?" Not wanting to let go of her, I remorsefully and slowly let my arms fall to my sides, grazing the small of her back in the process.

His touch sent my heart racing. I swallowed to mask the sudden increase of pumping blood. "Busy.. Really busy."

At that moment, my boss came around the corner, a small, nerdy guy with glasses pushed up on his nose that made his eyes look HUGE. "Jynx!! Your shift started 5 minutes ago. Get in here now!"

I sighed and looked back at Ethan. "Can we meet after my shift?" I said hopefully.

I noticed her get a little nervous. i smile and say "Sure, when does your shift end"> I run my hand through my hair when i finish.

"um... 5 hours.... " I said, disappointment clear in my voice. I wanted to spend time with him so bad. Stupid work.....

"okay i will be there, i promise you", I brushed a curl out of her face and gave her another hug this time tighter and more urgent because i don't want to loose her again.

I let the hug last longer than it probably should have, then pulled back, taking both of hours hands, squeezed them a little. "Thank you." I smiled, and turned away to go work.

I smiled to myself as i watched her go. It seems like just yesterday we said good bye to each other, and yet at the same time an eternity. *sigh* five hours, oh well better then nothing. I relies im still stand there looking after her, so i awkwardly go and sit back down in my seat. I take a sip off my coffee, "dammn, thats hot", i say to myself.

I work behind the counter, but I send glances in his direction often. I was trying to remember... Why did we sari goodbye? "um excise me? This is the wrong drink." The angry voice startled me put of Mt daydream. "oh.... I'm terribly sorry miss." I hop back and start to make the right drink, my cheeks burning in embarrassment.

I remember the day we said good bye. i cried alittle that night. Everything was nice till one day i got a job offer i just couldnt say no to, and then we just slowly lost touch. Recently i got another job offer where i used to work and i took it. Randomly i run into her again.

Five hours later, my shift was done. my hands were sticky with spilled coffee. But at least I smelled good. :) I grabbed my stuff from the backroom, then walked out into the lobby, pulling my hair out of it's pony tail.

I see her coming toward were i am sitting. "Are you done?", She smells like sweet coffee. The kind that burned my toung earlier but i drank it anyways because it tasted so good.

I smiled. "yea, I'm done." I fiddled with my bag. "um.... What do you want to do?" I didn't meet his eyes. They were so blue, and warmed me, despite them being like ice, and made my heart stutter.
