Emma finally felt a trickle of fear enter her mind when Christian held the edge of the blade against her neck, her breathing shortening and chest tightening. Before he lightened the pressure of the blade, she felt a flicker of pain cross her face as it cut through her delicate skin, a small bead of her golden colored blood leaking out. When he threw her to the ground, she barely had time to yelp as her wrist made an ominous click from bracing herself before Christian had her in his hands again. The kiss was the harshest she'd ever experienced; it wasn't like any of that romantic bullshit, it hurt. Even after he'd left, she could still feel the heat of the fire from his lips on her's, making her wonder if he had actually burned her lips.
Getting up with a slight limp, nearly falling over before she caught herself, she scowled and muttered to herself, "Shows me better than to actually think he would help... selfish bastard." Passing Elena, she sighed and stopped, an empathetic expression crossing her face as she turned to face the most-likely troubled girl. "You'll be better off if you get rid of the baby, trust me," she said with bitterness in her voice, her violet eyes sullen and tired. Walking to one of the couches in the hallway, she sat down and ran her hands through her mess of hair, fighting back the urge to puke. Instead, she felt her heart pang with sorrow as she let her thoughts drift to Amber, a few unchecked tears leaking out from her closed eyes.

Amber pulled away from Christian's grasp, stepping over to the windowsill and gazing out into the early morning, her coppery hair shining in the sunlight. Sighing, she then traced her fingers in the condensation that had formed on the glass pane, her deep amber eyes distant as she spoke.
"This won't be easy, you know..." Turning around, she faced Christian and let a serious expression settle on her face. "Emma is a confusing puzzle, and a lot of the pieces are missing; most never to be found again," she continued, a flash of sick, demented glee in her eyes as she smirked, "Luckily for you, I know Emma from the inside out. And I'm telling you, the best way to kill her and have fun doing it is to fuck with her head." Walking over to Christian, she grinned and tapped the side of his head, "Tell her the things she doesn't want to remember, put her in positions where she's on the spot, make her miserable and almost insane." Stepping away, she sighed again, this time for dramatic effect, and returned to the windowsill, sitting down. "Your biggest leverage?" she stated, pausing as a twisted smile danced on her lips, "Emma had a daughter, once upon a time. Helen was eight years old when she died- well, was murdered. Long story short, because Emma was caught praying to God, her daughter was killed." Meeting Christian's gaze, she raised her chin slightly and tilted her head, still smirking. "Now, how do you want to do this?"

Reposty for my face. I haven't written things like this in a while. All I've been doing is teen romance and writing songs for my band so I'm sorry if it sucks ass XD

A small frown crossed Christian’s lips as the girl stepped away from his rather warm embrace. Funny, he never remembered being this…hot. Even that kiss with Emma. Yes, it was supposed to hurt her in ways unimaginable but he still couldn’t perceive how he mustered up enough power to do it. A small smile broke out onto his lips. This was a new era on Earth. Hell on Earth. Christian had never thought that he’d be the one to bring it though. Best to start off small then get bigger and bigger. Masterminds always started small. Well, at least ones like him did.

“It’s Emma.” He said, lounging back on the couch. “She’s always been my toughest competition. I know.” Christian sighed. Emma. They used to be best friends. Fuck that. Best friends are shit. And who needed friends when you could have everything else at your fingertips? Women, power…that’s all Christian needed. Life would be sweet. He’d take over the world. Sounded fun didn’t it?

“Amber, let’s not forget that I’m one of the only , next to you, that knows a thing about Emma. And I’ve known her almost as long as you. I’ve figured that out. Stop acting like I’m a two year old and get on with it.” I guess with his knew found powers his temper had gotten…worse. How was that even possible? It was…I can’t even describe how frightening it was before. He needed to control himself and get a patience. Christian’s fingers dug into the arm of the couch, puncturing holes into it. ‘You can’t hurt her…’ He said to himself, breathing deeply. ‘You need her.’ Need her? Christian has never said those words to himself, never even thought them. He needed no one but here he was saying that he needed Amber. It disgusted him. Christian always worked solo and he couldn’t believe that was changing now. Or was it? Maybe he could get rid of her before she was in too deep. That earned another smile. Oh Christian you devil. Why yes, he was actually. That new name still didn’t settle in…

Christian grabbed Ambers wrist and turned it towards his lips. Keeping his eyes locked on hers, he kissed her hand. “I am forever in your debt…” He said, closing his eyes, still with her wrist pressed to his face. Christian let her go and he propped his head up on his fist. “Emma told me that once…” Christian said, stroking his chin. “We were…..well we were…she just told me alright?”(Can you guess what they were doing ;P After that when they were just chillingggg). “Well, Amber darling we can’t do it now…give her some time. Act like we’re not coming back.” He narrowed his eyes and stood. “We have to make sure she doesn’t come after us either….Knowing Emma she’s going to want…revenge..” Christian said, standing up and pacing around the room.

Amber sat down on the couch next to Christian, crossing her legs and fingering the spiraling ring on her left index finger as she pondered over his words. Wheels turning in her head, she creased her forehead and shut her eyes as she thought. Going back in her memories, she searched them for something else that could be useful. Suddenly, it hit her. Snapping her eyes open, she whispered in a small voice, "Her name…" Looking at Christian, she stood up and locked her eyes with his, slapping her forehead. "Her true name!" she said, placing her hands on her hips as she scolded herself for not thinking of it earlier.

"Every Angel was created with a true name, and with it, you can practically control them! Read their minds, go through their memories..." Amber ran her hands down her face, muttering something under her breath and sighing afterwards as she sat back down on the couch. Then, a thought crossed her mind, making her eyes narrow and her brows crease. "What ever happened between you and Emma anyways? She said something about a fight a few years back when you two broke up, but she never elaborated…" Crossing her arms over her chest, her mind went back again over the scene of Emma snapping at her when she asked more about the event, the flash of pain in her eyes.

Emma strolled slowly down the streets of the little town, hands stuffed in her pockets and a defeated expression on her face. Lost, alone, confused, heart-broken, angry; all were words that could describe how she felt. Shutting her eyes, she felt her mind go back to the moment she ran into Amber's room, seeing her bloody body on the floor. Shivering, she shook her head in attempt to make the memory go away, but only worse ones flashed before her eyes.

The Fall when Lucifer had turned against God, watching some of her closest friends side with him and having to fight them. The night she lost everything she'd ever held dear. All those years in the insane asylum where she was treated like the animal she could be. Being captured by the government and being experimented on; watching fellow immortals die. Loosing Christian. Nearly being killed by Ayla and Lukas. Loosing Amber.

Now in a narrow alley, she slumped against the wall and sunk down, her auburn hair falling over her lifeless eyes. When would anything in her life make sense? Shutting her eyes, she felt her heart clench and twist behind her chest, feeling like she was going to cry. But nothing happened; no tears built up in her eyes, and none fell down her cheeks. Needing to escape, she opened her black wings and wrapped them around her broken figure.
