He rushed out after her. He came up behind her and shot his arm out, wrapping it around her waist. He spun her around and pulled her to him. He winked and kissed her tenderly.

He went home and made himself decent. After checking his calendar, he saw that he had a soccer game soon and instead changed into his uniform. Then, he headed for Noelle.

I picked up a puppy that wasn't there last week when I went in. "Who's this?" It was the cutest thing I'd ever seen. My co-worker Janie explained how the puppy had been abused, explaining the cuts on her ears and legs, and that she had been brought in the day after I came in. "Aw the poor thing!"

Janie
"She probably won't get adopted though, she's pretty anti-social and she's big so... Brad said they're probably going to put her down."

Noelle
"No!" I screamed.

Janie
"Well if she doesn't get adopted, we don't have room for puppies..."

Noelle
I began to bawl, just as John showed up, the puppy still in my arms.
