So basically my tutor told me I'm hopeless. Lol. EXPLAIN.DO NOT DO FOR ME. EXPLAIN::

1. 15 is what percent of 75?
2. 125? or what number is 15?
3. Find 200% or 136.

Stuff like that.

1. The question is basically asking how many times 15 goes into 75. Make that into a fraction by putting a one over it. So if it were 15 into 60 it would be 1/4 which=25% So you convert the fraction to a decimal. The decimal would be 0.25, then as a fraction it's 25 % :) Now try it with 15 into 75 and check your answer below.

3. 200% of 136 is simple. if 100%=136 (you know this because 136 is your given number, 100% is the whole number) then 200%=100% times two. So basically, you double your 100%. Then for 300%, you would triple it, and etc. Check your answer below.

I have a formula that i use. A=P×B
A= Ex: 18 is _% of 24
P= the percent. You turn it into a decimal
B= the total amount

If you have solved problems like 25=x+5 then this is like the same thing. You plug in the numbers it gives you. Then the number you don't have becomes x. Then just solve as you would the problem i listed earlier.
