Paranormal Activities...

Story:
Welcome to Grand Oaks! It is a small but cozy town. From it's friendly neighbors to nature parks this place has everything! It also has it's downsides such as subdivisions with creepy old houses and rumors of ghosts and murders. Is this town as joyful as it seems? Or is something dark taking over? People who have lived here for a long time tell tales of people gone mad in the Oak Ridge subdivision. They say the ghosts in the house drive them insane. At first glance Oak Ridge seems like a nice street of houses. Most of them are new but as the months wear on strange things begin to happen. The houses act as if they are old, creaking and moaning at times. The wood rots quickly and the place takes on a musty smell. Spiderwebs form in the corners no matter how quickly you clean them away. Dust covers surfaces as if it has always been there, even if it has just been cleaned. Shadows are seen darting down hallways or lurking in corners. Screams are heard at night, also moaning. Blood may be found dripping through the floorboards. Murder tools may appear in the attic. Bones found in the walls of the basement or the backyard. Will you go insane from living here? Or will you stay sane?
Rules:
1. Any kind of paranormal activity is welcome from mysterious bloody scratches to being pulled down the stairs by unseen forces. The sky is the limit.
2. No god-modding please. Your character cannot run as fast as the wind or any such thing.
3. No fighting in OOC
4. Please try not to kill of all of your characters. Let's say ghosts can just badly injure...if you want someone to get killed then clear it with me first.
5. Sex is fades to black. No details past taking off clothing please.
6. You cannot play a ghost as a character. You can use them as side characters to play such as a ghost haunting a house but do not make them fall in love.
7. All site rules apply. Please follow them
8. Try to post detailed sentences. Not one sentence per post. I like even a small paragraph.
9. Limited swearing please. Do not drop the f-bomb in every sentence.
10. Have Fun!

Lucky has always been a dark person, emo some people may say, but she didn't see herself like that, she simply liked to be in the darkness, or to be on her own. She has never liked people she would rather stick to the animals she knows will never stad her in the back. Lucky lioved writing you will almost never see her leave her home without her notebook in hand, no one really knows what she rights about, no ones taken a glance into the notebook, for fear of what they may find. Even though Lucky isn't a happy go lucky people person, she isn't rude, or least she tries not to be, but she has her jerk moments; don't we all? Lucky is not a person that will fall in love easy, nor does she think she will ever find someone that will truely love her for who she is. Lucky has OCD, and Schizophrenia, so not many people like to hand around her. Lucky had few friend.
History-
At the age of three lucky watched her mother be killed by her father, she had never forgot it, and people wonder why she is how she is. Every night her father would come into her room and rape her, as just a young child, she didn't know any better. The man was a drunk and would often times beat the young child when she would cry out, he would threten to kill her like he did her mother. All through her life Lucky was to scared to tell anyone what happened behind the closed doors of her home, but at the of sixtenn Lucky had enough. Still she didn't tell a soul she simply left in the night as her drunken father dozzed on the couch. After she got out Lucky tried to find some where to go, it wasn't easy being a somewhat crazy sixteen year old girl on the strees looking for a place to go. Men would stop threir cars along side her and try to get her to come with them. But Lucky was smarter then that she never did, she never would. For another year she wondered the streets, finding herself living in back allies with tweekers and drunks, she didn't want to be here. But where was she to go? Lucky never gave up the hunt for a new life though. And one day as she slept of a park benc h and young man a woke her. Lucky had showered at a truck stop the day before and cleaned her clothes, so she looked like someone who had fallen asleep in the park. The young man, not much older then her asked if she needed anything, and Lucky told him know. Looking over the man she though. He was young, nice clothes shoes that she could only dream of having, he was welthy, that was for sure.
The man asked Lucky if she needed some where to stay, and trustin gthe young man Lucky said yes. And now here she is living with twenty two year old Travis Longsteen in a small town known for it's crazy hauntings and blood soaked streets. Lucky didn't care she was nineteen now. Living with some onbe who treated her like she needed. But lucky didn't love the man, nor did he love her he acted like the older brother Lucky had never had. It was nice, having a family one that she had always wanted. butg living in this house was not as great as it seemed, it was creepy always dirty no matter how much her and Travis cleaned. She would see things all over, wake up in the night to eyes looking down at her. Their four dogs would often times bark at the walls as if something was standing within then, or on them. Lucky didn't like the placed where she lived, but Travis just said she needed to calm down, and that it was all in her head. Was it? Lucky knew she was crazy. But was she truly that crazy?

Travis is a rather nicer person the kind of guy that amkes you smile with just a small tweek of his lips. The kind of guy who loved to talk to people no matter who they were. Travis was always willing to help someone if they needed it, or in some cases if they didn't. He was a rather rich boy whp dressed well and minded his P's and Q's. But he had a bad side the side of him that people rarely saw, the side that could scare some one. Travis had SPD (split personality disorder) and from time to time will turn into a man that goes by the name of Oakly. When he is in this state, it is best to stay away from him. Travis drinks, but not to the point where he loses his mind, just enough to take the pain of life away. He also smokes, and is addicted to Marijuana, and often times used LSD.
History-
Travis was an only child rased by his rich mother and father in LA. Although he got everything he every wanted in life Travis was never truely happy, his parents were never around, leaving him to be cared for by his Nanny and Butler. Travis was an out going child but was rarely aloud to show his true colors, he was home schooled and didn't get out of the house much, but when he did he was a bubbley I'm going to say hello to everyone I see kind of person. Travis had one best friend when he was growing up the boys name was Levi. Travis loved the kid, when he got out of school Levi would head over to the house and play with Travis, but his Nanny would always make him leave after a short time. This saddened the young boy he loved to be around the other, but it was just him lucky for something to be taken away from him.
When Travis was eleven his parents were killed in a plane crash as the traveled to France, Travis hadn't seen his parents for a year before that, and the last thing he ever said to them was: " I hate you for never being here!" Travis wished he had never said that, he wished he had said I love you guys, come home safe please, but he didn't and now he had to live with that forever. Travis was rased for the rest of his life by his grandmother, the lady was a bitch never letting travis do anything, telling him he was never good enough. Throughout the years Travis developed another personality, in which he named Oakly, Oakly was a nasty some of a bitch. Rude, selfish, not at all how Travis truely was. Not being able to take it anymore Travis grandmother left. Leaving the sixteen year old boy to live in this big house all by himself. His butler and Nanny had left years before because of the way the old woman had treated them.
Trived stayed in the home for another two years before he left, just simply left, leaving everything behind, but his pets. Travis just had to go to a bank any time he wanted money he was so rich he could buy a whole Island and still have Millons left over, but he would do that. Instend Travis used the money for good helping people that where left out on the streets, kids that needed places to go. But then one day Travis came across a young girl sleeping in a park, although she was clean, Travis knew she had no where to go, he had seen her before wondering around on the streets. But that would no longer happen he took her home with him. ANd here they now are living in a small town known for is kauntings and it's blood soaked streets, but Tr4avis didn't believe the stories, and he thought little miss Lucky was crazy for letting the things get to her.

Gage slammed the front door behind him as he ran out of his creaky old house. This was going too far. Just before he had exited the house a knife had flown out of the knife drawer and planted itself in the wall next to his head. He was tired of his house being haunted. It had been cool at first but now it was just getting plain annoying and scary. The ghost seemed to be getting worse with every passing day. At first it was just shadows darting down the hall but now there were open attempts to kill him, hence the knife incident. He decided to go into town and spend some time away from his house. He walked down the sidewalk, glancing at each house that he passed. He knew many were haunted old houses but some of the newer ones were becoming old and haunted within days. It was just too strange. What was going on?

Katherine was in the bathroom putting her make-up on as she hears noises. They were girls voices, but one sounded around her age, and one sounded younger. Where did that come from? She started to forget about it, but she couldn't. She kept on hearing the voices more and more, and then they laughed. She looked up and there were the voices in the mirror. They put a hand out to her trying to pull her in or something. She panicked, and screamed, and then ran out the door. She grabbed her purse that was sitting in the hallway and she started to walk out the door. She tried to open the door, but it wasn't opening. She heard the noises again, and it seemed like they were locking the door. She walked over to the side door, but even that door was hard to open. "Please! You're scaring me!" She heard some evil laughs from those girls and finally they let her out. She walked out, and she didn't look back at the house. She was too scared. She had no idea what just happened.

Gage had been mumbling to himself about needing to move into a different house when he saw a girl run terrified out of her house. He frowned. Was her house going haunted too? He hadn't seen her around much. She must have just moved here. He quickly walked over to her and stopped her. "You okay?" He asked, concerned. Being haunted could be pretty horrifying. He hoped she was alright. He gave her a soft smile. "I'm Gage....did something scare you?" He asked, not indicating that he knew the houses around here were haunted.

Katherine looked up as she noticed Gage. She just moved here, and she didn't expect to meet too many people yet. But maybe she will if people start running out of their houses, screaming. What was wrong with this place? She wanted to start a new life in a new place, but already she was creeped out by two voices. "Hi..." She trailed off. What should I say? "Yeah, um, two girls were like laughing and such in my house. Do you know anything about ghost?" She asked him.

Gage knew immediately which house was hers when she mentioned two girls laughing in her house. "Oh. You live in the old Miller place." He bit his lip. "Yeah. I know about it. Sorry about that..." He looked down at his feet then met her eyes again. "My house it haunted too. Although I haven't seen it yet. Mine's the old one down there," he said, pointing to the old house on the corner. "Tried to kill me this morning. So I decided to get out for some fresh air." He smiled. "Don't mind the ghosts. They're pretty harmless, I believe." He advised her.

Katherine felt a little better that he knew about the ghosts in her house, but she was still really scared. "Thanks for telling me. I hope they don't try that on me." She laughed, and then put a strand of hair behind her ears. "I'm Katherine by the way," She continues, and gives a smile. "I just moved here. Actually I move a lot," She giggles, and then looks at him. "What about you? How long have you been here for?" She asked, sweetly.

Gage smiled. He liked this girl already. She was plenty friendly. He felt bad that she had to live in a haunted house that could scare her out of her wits. "It's nice to meet you. I've been here for a few months. But I'm pretty used to being here now." He chuckled. "It gets....nevermind. I guess I can't say it gets better. Sometimes the ghosts decide to leave you alone, or they're like mine where they just get worse. I hope yours will learn to leave you alone."
