Well, here's the skinny of it:
I have a crush on this guy…
He's really nice and he always makes me laugh. He's in two of my advanced classes (Honors Physical Science & Algebra 1), so I know he's not stupid. Not to mention, but he's pretty easy on the eyes, if you catch my drift. ;)
All this said, what I'm having trouble with is this: I think I like him, but I don't want to like him. >.< It a stressful combination of two things. One, I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't date until high school because, personally, I think 'dating' in middle school is so over-rated. Two, well, let's just he's one of the popular guys, m'kay? So, that means that all the 'popular' girls are always around him, and let's just say that my arch-enemy is one of these girls. Evil or Very Mad

Now that I've explained my interesting dilemma, does anybody have any advice on what I should do? Should I just give in and accept that I think I like him? Or should I just wait to get over him? Because, honestly, I'm so confused right now…
My heart says one thing, while my head says another.
So, please; help a girl out.

Oh, and for anyone who was wondering; yes, he is the reason behind my signature. >.> You see what this silly little boy has done with my head?

Like I tell my friends, go with the flow. You don't choose who you like you just fall for them sometimes without knowing. It depends on how long you know him if you should go on liking him or try to move on. If you two are really close and you don't want to ruin the friendship, then I would say leave things how they are but if he seems to show a little interest in you then (; it's sexy time aha. But now that you know that you like him then you can just see when you're around him if he likes you to. Does he talk to you more than he talks to everyone else. Does he sit with you whenever he can. Does he pass you random ass notes? How much do you know about him? Is he the shy type to hide his feelings or is the type that's outright and DAMN I LIKE THIS GIRL(; And the popular crowd? Over-rated bitches. I don't give two shits about them. Leave them alone and they leave you alone. That's what I do(Unless they give shit to my friends..then it gets personal.) Don't show them weakness. Just hold your head tall. And he's popular isn't he? He doesn't care if you're not because he's sticking around you and making you laugh jsut like he does with them.

Accept the fact that you like him. The heart wants what the heart wants. The mind is a complex organ that many times cannot be understood, this is one of those times. Though you dont have to date him, that doesnt mean you cant be good friends with him.
