I laughed again. "Awkward! Well, according to Mia, I'm 'quite good', whatever that means." I place the doughnut bag on the floor by me feet. "But our history is ancient and she is far better with Trevor." It had been many years since our short fling, but I preferred Mia as a best friend than a girlfriend any day. More-so than anything was that although I loved her as a sister, I felt no attraction towards her like I did with Kairi.
